Addiopizzo aims to promote a culture of legality, solidarity and environment, based on the principles of the Italian Constitution, opposing the Mafia and the extortion racket system. In particular, the Organization’s primary purpose is to protect the right to legality and the free exercise of business activity, without criminal pressure, and to guarantee the interests of citizens-consumers and entrepreneurs who oppose it.

Addiopizzo promotes social inclusion and urban regeneration interventions to facilitate access to fundamental rights and overcome the conditions of economic and educational poverty, in order to prevent deviant behaviors, illegality and criminality.

The Organization promotes nonviolent struggle strategies against the Mafia dominion of the territory and resilience to Mafia infiltration.
It organizes and supports initiatives, activities and interventions to support the anti-mafia and anti-racketeering alliance among citizens and entrepreneurs.
