On August 29, the day of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the death of Libero Grassi, Addiopizzo and the Lega Navale Italiana organized the tenth edition of the initiative “Sailing for social inclusion” with young people from the Kalsa neighborhood.

We felt it worthwhile to launch, starting today in the areas of Cardillo and Tommaso Natale, “door-to-door” initiatives aimed at shopkeepers in the borgate.

On April 30, 2026, we joined the case as a civil party alongside a business owner and a worker who, with Addiopizzo’s support, stood up to extortion attempts suffered in the Noce neighborhood of Palermo.

Among the many who, unfortunately, pay extortion money, there are those who, supported by Addiopizzo, found the strength and the courage to stand up to Cosa Nostra’s threats and pressure.

With the launch of social inclusion and anti-educational-poverty activities in the Kalsa neighborhood, Addiopizzo has enabled 45 children to get a medical check-up.
