In recent months in the Noce neighborhood<\/strong> some business owners<\/b> found the strength and courage to stand up to the extortion racket<\/b><\/a> thanks to the work of magistrates and law enforcement<\/b> and the support of Addiopizzo. But if over the course of a few months<\/b> several people have come forward<\/b>, it is likely that in this same period other shopkeepers working in the neighborhood have also been targeted.<\/p>\n

From 9 to 21 December<\/strong>, Addiopizzo promoted a series of information and awareness-raising<\/strong> initiatives with the campaign \u201cAnche alla Noce si pu\u00f2 fare: denuncia collettiva<\/a><\/strong>\u201d. The activities reached the neighborhood\u2019s streets<\/strong>, schools<\/strong> and parish communities<\/strong>, with the aim of meeting people in their everyday places, creating opportunities for dialogue and strengthening the awareness that reporting extortion is possible<\/strong>, especially when it is done together.<\/p>\n
